This specialist setting reflects our commitment to personalised, therapeutic care and has been designed to support long-term placements in a calm and stable environment.
Who Calthorpe Supports
Calthorpe is tailored for young people who:

Have emotional and behavioural difficulties

Require support with complex health and social care needs

Have a history of insecure attachments and challenging behaviours

May present with physically aggressive behaviour

Cannot live in group settings with younger children
Placement Criteria
Calthorpe is not suitable for young people who:

Have physical disabilities

Have severe learning disabilities

Experience acute mental health crises

Have severe drug dependency
-
Are identified fire-setters, as the property does not have a sprinkler system
Due to the tailored nature of the home, same-day placements are not accepted.
